Started in early 2002, ExtremeTourist.com originally dealt with only Western Australia where we are based but demand quickly made the site Australia-wide and it was re-launched on March 1, 2003. In short-time the site became Australia's leading adventure and eco-tourism website. The site was once again re-launched in September 2004 with it's current look and is constantly improved and continues to grow at a rapid rate. Now in 2005, three years since it's original launch, it has begun it's expansion worldwide...

The idea behind ExtremeTourist.com has always been to be very much a member-orientated website, offering travellers all the information and tools they need to get the most out of thier travels. ExtremeTourist.com is maintained and operated by Extreme Publications, a division of MediaIQ Corporation Pty Ltd.
